ChargePoint Candidate Guide to Prolydian
Authorization Window
Technicians taking a single exam, either the ChargePoint EVSE AC Exam or ChargePoint EVSE DC Exam will have an authorization window of 15 days from their registration date.
Technicians taking both the ChargePoint EVSE AC Exam and ChargePoint EVSE DC Exam with have an authorization window of 30 days from their registration date within which to take both exams.
Registering for an exam
- Log into your Candidate Dashboard at https://chargepoint.prolydian.com/ using your ChargePoint credentials
- Navigate to the My Applications page
- Click the “Apply now” button to access the exam fee application
- Click “Apply” next to the relevant fee application
- Enter your payment information in the “Credit or debit card field” and click “Complete payment”
- Or enter a voucher code and click “Apply voucher"
- Click the “Submit” button
Within five minutes after your exam fee application has been submitted you will receive an authorization to test email and you can start your exam at any time within your authorization window. You do not need to schedule a time in advance. The exam will be available immediately from the My Exams page.
Before your exam
The exam is a computer-based AI-proctored online assessment (by Rosalyn.ai) and must be taken on a desktop or laptop. Tablets and mobile devices are not supported.
Review the system requirements and test your equipment to make sure your system is compatible:
- Internet connection test
- Camera test
- Download and install the Rosalyn application if you don’t have it already, and grant the necessary permissions
- You are encouraged to take the exam on a personal computer. If you must use a work computer, please have your IT department review port and firewall settings here.
- Prepare identity verification documents, acceptable ID documents include:
- Government-issued driver’s license
- College/University-issued staff photo ID
- Passport
- Any Physical Government-Issued Identification Card (must include photo)
System Requirements
- Windows 7/10/11 or Mac OS
- Working camera & microphone
- Dual-core CPU
- At least 2 GB available of RAM memory
- At least 500 MB of available disk space
- Minimum Internet download/upload speed 500 Kb/s
- Dual Monitors are NOT supported
Starting your exam
- Log into your Candidate Dashboard using your ChargePoint credentials
- Navigate to the My Exams page
- Under the exam name click the “Read/accept terms and conditions” button
- A pop-up window w NDA will appear, click "I Accept"
- You'll return to the My Exams page and click “Launch exam” the follow the on-screen instructions to continue to check-in for your Rosalyn AI Proctoring session. You will need a valid Photo ID to verify your identity prior to taking the exam
