When you click into the title and body templates a full text editor will pop up giving you access to all the available formatting options including:
- Source: View/edit the html source code
- Add an image: To do so click the image icon, then click "Browse server," this will bring up a media manager. You must create a new folder, then upload your image to that folder. Once uploaded double click to select it. We highly recommend resizing your image before uploading it as some email providers, like Outlook, do not recognize the size parameters set after the fact.
- Insert a table
- Template actions:
- Insert placeholder value: Choose the desired value and click "Ok." The system will then automatically populate the candidate's name/exam scheduled date/etc based on "Template values come from a" setting. You can double click to edit an existing placeholder and can delete or format them like normal text.
- Show text if true: Highlight the desired text then select "Show text if true." You can then enter conditional logic that will show/hide the text based on specific factors such as if an examinee passed or failed their exam.
- Embed a template: You can choose a different email template that will be embedded in the one you're working on. This is commonly used with the "Show text if true logic" to show a passing or failing template depending on an examinee's score.
- Embed a table template: Used to embed a template within a table, you must first create the table.
- Process a macro: Enter code to return a specific value
When finished be sure to click "Save," to create your template.
