Where do I get the proctor code?
You should have received the code via an automated email from , or directly from the exam manager. Please check your email and reach out to the exam manager if you're still unable to locate it.
***Prolydian will be unable to provide you with a proctor code because our staff are unable to verify that you are the proctor. You MUST contact the exam manager.

Which browser should the candidate use to take the exam?
The Prolydian system supports all major, updated browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Opera. The system does not support outdated browsers such as Internet Explorer. If you are using Internet Explorer or an outdated browser, the system will alert you that some functionality may not be available to you. Please update the browser or install an updated browser before continuing.

What operating system should the candidate use to take the exam?
The Prolydian system supports all operating systems, including MacOS. The only requirement is that an updated browser is installed on the operating system.

Can the candidate use a tablet or similar device?
Yes. Recent generation phones and tablets are supported; however, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer for the best user experience.

What internet speed is required?
Prolydian’s exam delivery system is designed to require a minimal internet connection speed. Speeds greater than 5mbps are recommended, however slower speeds will still allow the candidate to complete and access the exam. The candidate will not lose exam time due to slower internet connections.
We recommend having a hard-wired connection instead of a wireless connection to prevent any disruptions, however stable wireless connections are acceptable.

What should I do if the candidate experiences an error during testing?
Reassure the candidate that neither their exam nor their exam time will not be impacted by any error they encounter. The system saves the exam time regularly throughout the exam, including after every question. The candidate’s current item and all prior responses are also saved, so the system will resume the exam at the point where the error occurred.
After these reassurances have been provided, please close the browser and then reopen it.
Go to https://app.prolydian.com/home/launch and have the candidate enter the Examinee Key.
The system will redirect the candidate to the “Continue Exam” page. Have the candidate click the Continue Exam button and they will be placed on the most recent item they viewed.
