Creating an item bank

• Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to  Exams > Items and click “Create new”

• Here you will select basic settings for your item bank including
  • Name
  • Item status
    • Select “No” to use the default item status
    • Select “Yes” to create custom statuses. You can designate which statuses are pilot, active, or locked for editing. You can add new statuses by clicking “Add status,” and delete any existing statuses by clicking the trash can icon under them.
  • Disable rich text editing
  • Restrict item types
    • This setting lets you limit the types of items allowed in your bank (ex. Multiple choice only)
  • Set a default number of choices for multiple choice questions
• Once finished, click “Save”

After your item bank is created, you’ll be taken to the “Manage” page where you can start to import or add items (or questions).
