Scheduling or rescheduling an Exam

Scheduling an exam

Please note: Exams must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Exams > My exams
  • Click the "Schedule" button below the name of your exam

Note: If you see an "Update Address" button instead of a "Schedule" button, click on that button and update your address. This will need to be completed before scheduling your exam.

          

  • A new window will pop up with scheduling options. If the Time Zone is not listed or not correct, choose the correct option from the drop down menu

You can also set your account's time zone following the steps in the "Setting Your Account's Time Zone" section below. This will ensure all times shown in Prolydian are in your time zone.

  • Pick your date from the drop down calendar or enter it with the MM/DD/YYYY format.
  • Click the search button to find available exam times. Choose a time from the provided menu – make sure to pay attention to AM and PM.
  • Tick the check box confirming your date, time, and time zone. 

  • Click the "Schedule" button to finalize the process and schedule your exam.

You will be returned to the My Exam page and will see the exam listed with the scheduled date and time. You will receive an email with additional instructions within 5 minutes of scheduling your exam.


Rescheduling an exam

Please note: Exams can only be rescheduled 24 hours or more before the scheduled exam date/time.
When selecting a new date/time exams must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Visit the My Exams page within your Prolydian account.
  • Click the Reschedule button below your exam name.

  • Repeat the steps used to schedule your exam, choosing a new date and time.

You will be returned to the My Exam page and will see the exam listed with the new date and time. You will receive an email with additional instructions within 5 minutes of scheduling your exam.

 


Canceling an exam

Please note: Once cancelled you are not able to use your exam registration or schedule your exam.
An entirely new registration will be needed and registration fees may apply.
  • Visit the My Exams page within your Prolydian account.
  • Click the "Cancel" button below your exam name.
  • In the window that pops up, click OK.

You will be returned to the My Exam page and will see that the exam has been cancelled.

 


Setting your account's time zone

  • Log in at https://app.prolydian.com/ and click on your initials in the upper right hand corner, then choose "Account."
  • Scroll down to "My language/locale preferences" and select your correct time zone.
  • Click "Save"

This will ensure that all times shown in Prolydian preview correctly for the selected time zone.

  • Operating System: OS X El Capitan 10.11 or later, Windows 10 (Windows machines in 10 S mode are not supported)
  • Internet Browser: Google Chrome (Current Stable and First Preceding Version)
  • Web Camera: Minimum- 640×480 resolution, Recommended- 1280×720 resolution
  • Internet Download Speed: A required upload and download speed of 2Mbps, with 10Mbps preferred RAM: Minimum – 2GB, Recommended- 4GB
  • A Functioning Microphone: Webcams with built in microphones and stand alone microphones supported

Not Supported: 

  • Tablets (iPad, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Note, etc.)
  • Mobile (Android, iOS)
  • ARM CPU Architecture
  • Chromebooks

 

ProctorU Technical Requirements

  • Guardian Browser is required for testing. Download here.
  • Operating System: macOS X 10.13 or higher, Windows 10 or higher. ProctorU does not support Linux or Chrome OS
  • Web Camera: Minimum- 640×480 resolution, Recommended- 1280×720 resolution
  • Internet Download Speed: A required upload and download speed of 2Mbps, with 10Mbps preferred
  • RAM: Minimum – 2GB, Recommended- 4GB
  • A Functioning Microphone: Webcams with built in microphones and stand alone microphones supported

Not Supported:
