Window based exam events require you to create a new event for each cycle. To simplify the process, you can use the "Copy" action, which will create a copy of the event with all the prior settings, including notification settings, retake windows, fees, and user permissions.
You can copy an event from the Deliver tab within an exam or from the main Events > Events listing. The steps are the same for both areas.
- Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to the Deliver tab of the exam you're working on or Events > Events and find the correct event
- To copy the event, click the actions dropdown icon (three dots) next to the event you want to copy
- Click the Copy action from the dropdown list of actions
- Add the Begin date/time and End date/time to define the start and end dates of the exam window. For remote proctored exams, available exam times are retrieved from the proctoring provider based on the selected exam date. The first possible available time will be midnight of the Begin date/time value and the last possible available time will be before midnight on the End date/time value - the times are mostly ignored, but we always recommend setting it to 12:00pm to make sure the correct day is used across U.S. timezones. You can also enter the registration start/end dates, but these are optional.
- Click Save and your event will be created with "Copy" prepended to its Title. You can access the event to change its name.
