Reference and work experience verification requests can be sent out as part of the application process. If an application includes a reference request, the verifier will be emailed a link to a page where they can complete the reference form.
Reference links can only be used once, if a link is revisited after a verifier has already submitted a response the below message will be displayed.
If the reference submits without completing the form or if the reference request goes out of date, the link can be reopened to allow the reference to complete the form.
- Go to the applications listing for the user by clicking on their record from the People > Users listing and then clicking on the Applications tab (or locate them on Applications > Applicants)
- Click the three dots next to the application
- Click View references
- If the reference is marked as Complete, click on the lock icon to unlock it
- This will unlock the reference link and mark is as Incomplete
- The reference can now complete the form and submit their responses, allowing the application to move to the next step in the process
