Managing a credential

Once a credential is created you can edit the settings as well as set up renewal rules, Continuing Education Credits, pre-approvals, and notifications.

 

Credential settings
These settings allow you to edit the credential details and set the credential as active or inactive. You can also enable or disable continued education tracking, and  choose to have a public certificant lookup that will appear on your organization's landing page.

  • Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
  • Click on a credential to access it
  • From the “Setup” tab adjust the settings as desired
  • To change the credential manager erase the current name, search for a new one, then click on it
  • Click “Save”


Credential sharing
This page allows you to share access to a specific credential with different users and designate their roles.

  • Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
  • Click on a credential to access it
  • Click on the hamburger menu (three bars) on the top right of the page
  • Go to the “Sharing” tab

  • To add a user search for their name in the search bar and click on it
  • Then click “Add this entry”
  • Once a user is added to the list click on the gear icon to choose their role

  • Click “Save changes” and then “Back” to exit

Credential renewal rules
Renewal rules determine when it is allowed to renew a credential. If renewal rules are not used, a credential can be renewed at any time if a renewal application is available. 

 

Setting renewal rules

  • Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
  • Click on a credential to access it
  • Click on the “Renewal” tab
  • Click the check box next to “Enable/enforce renewal rules”
  • Enter the desired renewal rules
  • Click “Save”


Credential notifications
Notifications are emails sent to certificants during specific stages of the recertification process. These can be set up and customized from the Notify tab within a credential management page.

 

Adding a notification

  • Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
  • Click on a credential to access it
  • Click on the  “Notify” tab
  • To add a new notification click on “Create new”

  • Choose your desired settings
    • Normally the notification is sent from the credential manager to the certificant person
    • Templates need to be created beforehand
  • Click “Save”

 

Editing a notification

  • Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
  • Click on a credential to access it
  • Click on the “Notify” tab
  • Click on the three dots to the left of a notification
    • Select “Manage” to edit the settings
    • Select “Preview” to preview the email
    • Select “Remove” to delete the notification
