Continuing education
Certificants working towards recertification can submit applications to receive continuing education credits (CECs) based on the activities specified by your organization. These activities can be divided into different categories and can each be set up with unique specifications regarding documentation and conversion rules.
Adding a Category
- Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
- Click on a credential to access it
- Click on the “Continuing Education” tab
- Click the “+” button to the right of “Categories”
- Enter the category name and click the checkmark button to save
Editing/Removing a category
- Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
- Click on a credential to access it
- Click on the “Continuing Education” tab
- Hover over a category
- Click the pencil icon to edit the name
- Click the trashcan icon to delete the category
Adding an activity
- Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
- Click on a credential to access it
- Click on the “Continuing Education” tab
- Hover over a category and click the list icon
- Click the “+” button to the right of “Activities”
- Enter the activity name and click the checkmark button to save
Editing/Removing an activity
- Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
- Click on a credential to access it
- Click on the “Continuing Education” tab
- Hover over a category and click the list icon
- Hover over an activity
- Click the pencil icon to edit the name
- Click the trashcan icon to delete the activity
- Click the gear icon to edit the activity details
Pre-Approval for CECs
For pre-approved events, training, or other courses specific lookup codes can be created and later provided to certificants. They will be able to enter the code when on their application to easily apply for continuing education credits.
Setting up a New Pre-Approved Activity
- Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
- Click on a credential to access it
- Click on the “Pre-Approvals” tab
- Click “Grant new”
- Enter the desired information and click “Save”
Editing/Removing a pre-approved activity
- Log into your Prolydian account at https://app.prolydian.com and go to Credentials > Credentials
- Click on a credential to access it
- Click on the “Pre-Approvals” tab
- Click on the three buttons to the left of the lookup code
- Select “Amend” to edit the activity
- Select “Revoke” to delete it
